We can confirm that Primal Scream will not be performing at Latitude this year despite Brett Anderson’s comments in the June issue of Q. Sorry for any disappointment this may cause to anyone who was hoping this may be the case (and to Brett himself).

has anyone seen the latest issue of q? will have a look later. :P

brett mixed some festivals up. the comments were that he was hoping to see them perform 'screamadelica' and that bobby g is a fun bloke to hang out with (or something like that).

with all the festivals they are doing, I owuld imagine it would be pretty easy to mix up who is playing where.

ba: not likely, but we have started to write. it's early days but it's sounding interesting - we've been listening to alternative music from the early '80s, that's filtering through.

:) it's a very short one - 2/3 page. the issue has a summer festival guide inside and they interviewed brett for the latitude festival.

Two-three pages is good, when you said short I thought you mean a soundbite, sidebar thingy rather than a feature.

:P i meant two-thirds(or a little more than a half) of one page :D (the rest of the page is about some tips for the festival) sorry for the confusion. i would love to scan and post it but don't have a scanner at home.
